In September, Kompost supported the "#drive4help” campaign, which raised over 20'000 EUR for the Bikes4Refugees project by the Berlin based NGO Rückenwind. Their mission is to collect old and broken bikes, fix them up together with Syrians asylum seekers in Berlin and then pass the refurbished bikes to the refugees.

Gian co-initiated the #drive4help campaign and was part of the team who drove by bicycle over 900km from Zürich to Berlin. The campaign allows Rückendwind to help over 1'000 migrants get back a bit of freedom via the means of mobility.
