Kompost teams up with David Beckham and Jamie Oliver for Samsung’s charitable London 2012 Olympic Hope Relay Campaign.

Samsung launched a global charity campaign for the London 2012 Olympic Games with the introduction of a smartphone application, the Samsung Hope Relay app. This GPS-based app lets users virtually take part in the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay throughout the world while raising money for charities such as Kids Company and International Inspiration.

Kompost, working via CHI & Partners and Partizan, designed, directed and animated the key elements of the app such as the ten interactive movies and the promotional films starring celebrities and athletes like David Beckham, Jamie Oliver, Zara Phillips, Phillips Idowu and many more.

The app movies, created by Kompost, set the look for the entire Samsung Hope Relay Campaign. This included the design of the runner’s outfits, the appearance of the Samsung Hope Relay YouTube page, the Piccadilly Circus ad and the online / print assets.
